Clothes Washer Rebate!

Seattle City Light has announced a rebate program for clothes washers.  Updating a washer to an efficient model can save over $1,000 in electricity and water costs over its lifetime.

SCL wants to sweeten the deal further. Their rebate is for either $50 or $100 depending on the model.  Tack on the rebate with the energy savings and the purchase price is covered along with using a third less detergent and more capacity for fewer loads.
